A story from the Southern Oregon Coast that unfolded not too long ago: Over the course of driving along lonely rural roads in relentless rain or hail, I frequently saw a man bicycling with a brown and white pit bull trotting behind him. Sometimes the man wore rain gear, other times not. The dog wore nothing.
